Zhanna Belyaeva

Professor Zhanna Belyaeva is the Academic Director of the Graduate School of Economics and Management at the Ural Federal University, Russia. She is also the head of EFMD accredited program. She has published extensively in the areas of sustainable development and digital business models for stakeholder experience, IoT and sustainability led metrics for markets and industry development strategy. She served as the guest editor of top-tier journals like Journal of Business Research, Management Decision, Journal of International management among others. Professor Belyaeva is involved in organisation of digital economics and sustainable developmen management conferences with many European Universities, and co-chairs the UrFU annual conference for the last 10 years. In November 2020, in this international conference, she also led the research track of digital technologies to address the pandemic-specific disruptions. Professor Belyaeva received University Research Excellence Award in 2018 and 2019, and the EuroMed Research Award in 2020.

Sanda Soucie is a Full Professor in Tenure in the Department of Trade of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has carried out research on topics such as retailing and wholesaling, category management, supply chain risk and security management, logistics, channels of distribution, etc. She was the editor of the following books: Green Economy in the Western Balkans: Towards a Sustainable Future (2017), and Challenges for the Trade in Central and Southeast Europe (2013) published by Emerald Group and Supply Chain Management – New Perspectives (2011) published by InTech. Also, she was the guest editor in journals such as the British Food Journal, Journal of Food Products Marketing, and World Journal of Retail Business Management. She has presented papers at several conferences such as Macromarketing, International Conference on Industrial Logistics, International Retailing Conference, Oxford Retail Futures Conference, etc. She was involved in FP7 EU Project “Focus Balkans”.

Francisco J. Navarro-Meneses

PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Alcalá (Madrid, Spain). Previously, he obtained an Executive MBA at the Instituto de Empresa, specializing in operations and production. His research focuses on value creation modeling and analysis in complex business and social systems. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Nebrija University, where he is director of the MBA program in Tourism Management and Director of Executive Education in Tourism. Before joining the academic field, Dr. Navarro-Meneses has developed his career as an international business consultant in “big four” consulting firms, a sector in which he has extensive experience in strategic transformation and innovation management assignments. He has also been a founder and CEO of startups in the engineering, transportation, tourism, e-commerce, and professional services industries.

Professor Denis Harrington is Head of Graduate Business at Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. He has responsibility for leading and directing all taught postgraduate business programs within the School and for executive development. He has extensive research and consultancy experience having worked in the UK, France, China and within the Russian Federation.  As well as teaching responsibilities for Leadership and Professional Development on the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and Executive MBA programs at WIT Business School, Denis is also a visiting Professor at Shanghai University, China. He has been a visiting professor at NEOMA Business School, France, St Petersburg State University, Russia and is a DBA program external examiner with the University of Liverpool, UK. Denis has been a recent recipient of a High End Foreign Expert Award Scholarship from the Chinese government and is a past recipient of an International Talent Program Scholarship at Shanghai University, China.

Mr. Jayant (Jay) Shah is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1982. A graduate in commerce and Law, Jayant Shah has varied experience in Organizational and Management Consultancy and is currently associated with the eminent management guru Dr.Jagdish Sheth.

Jayant Shah has been associated with Academy of Indian Marketing since inception and presently he is the Executive Director of AIM. He is also instrumental in the formation of the Academy of Indian Marketing (AIM). AIM is a non profit organization having top 40 B Schools as it's members and is active in promoting research in the area of marketing. Recently Mr. Shah has been appointed as CEO of AIM Parasuraman Centre for Service Excellence.

Mr. Shah is a member of the Board of Governors of IILM and IILM University Gurgaon and is also advisor to couple of educational institutions and startup companies.

He is also member on the editorial board of Journal of Creating Value. His passion is to mentor young students, entrepreneurs and professionals in the areas of personal and professional developments.

Joseph Haldane

Founder, Chairman and CEO of IAFOR, Japan

Dr Haldane’s research and teaching is on history, politics, international affairs and international education, as well as governance and decision making, and he is a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network for Global Governance. Since 2015 he has been a Guest Professor at The Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) at Osaka University, where he teaches on the postgraduate Global Governance Course, and, since 2017, Co-Director of the OSIPP-IAFOR Research Centre, an interdisciplinary think tank situated within the University.

In 2020 Dr Haldane was appointed Honorary Professor of UCL (University College London), through the Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management. He also holds Visiting Professorships in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade, and at the School of Business at Doshisha University, where he teaches Ethics and Governance on the MBA.

Hirofumi Uchida is Professor at Graduate School of Business Administration and Vice Chief of Value Emergence Group at Value School, Kobe University, Japan. His main research interests focus on banking and financial institutions, and financial system architecture. His work has appeared in journals such as International Economic Review, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Economica, Journal of Banking and Finance, and Journal of Financial Stability. Hirofumi Uchida received his Ph.D in Economics from Osaka University. He was a visiting scholar at Indiana University as a 2003 Fulbright Scholar, was a visiting scholar at Stanford University as a 2017 Abe Fellow, and is currently an associate editor of Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Economic Notes, and Review of Monetary and Financial Studies. He received the 2018 Foundation Award of the Japan Bankers’ Foundation for the Promotion of Academic Research. At Value School, he teaches two cl asses of field-based learning (FBL) with collaboration with Kobe City Office and companies.
